Seth Beauman is an insomniac and to while away the hours, he calls up strangers from his phonebook asking if they’ll talk with him, while his wife, Maeve sleeps upstairs. A misunderstanding with a suicidal Hadley Serf who thinks she is talking to the Samaritans, starts off as a chat but when they hit it off, their late night talks, lead to them meeting up. Soon this dysfunctional love story turns into something altogether darker, when Seth brings Hadley home…and someone is watching.
Flippin’ ek! This was amazing! This review is actually going to be quite short because as much as I want to talk and talk about the plot points in this book, I also don’t because I want you to discover it for yourself! It is a rude, sexy, dark and disturbing thriller and is so clever! The narrative is fast paced – once I got started I didn’t want to stop and the chapters are really short which just made me want to keep going.
Good Samaritans is highly original and completely deserves to be a best seller – Will Carver is a genius and this book is unforgettable. I give it all the stars!
My first book tour for Orenda Book and it didn’t disappoint! Thank you to Karen at Orenda Books for having me along for the ride!

[…] Good Samaritans was my first blog tour for Orenda books exactly 1 year ago today. When I saw Carver had a new book out, I obsessively checked my inbox, desperate to be on the tour, as Good Samaritans was in my top 10 of 2018 and I knew this one would be just as good. […]
