This novella is part 1 of a 4 part series set around Anna as she comes to terms with splitting up with her fiancée just a year before her wedding. She moves to a new flat on the edge of a pretty and peaceful communal garden known as Wildflower Park, to be near her best friend Sophie.

Anna starts to move on with her life. She gets a rescue cat. She starts a text flirtation with a stranger. She has a handsome new colleague at work and she is doing well moving on with her life until her ex fiancé is hired into her team at work.

This is a short read and I love the idea of telling the story in a series (I’m not sure if this is a trend I’ve missed or if it is a new thing). Osborne has the ability to capture realistic true to life situations and the characters of Anna and Sophie are both likeable and believable. I read this is one sitting and it ended on a cliff-hanger that had me hankering for more. I can’t wait to read the next instalment!

Thank you to Avon Books and Netgalley for providing me with a copy to review for the blog tour.
