On 25th January I was invited along with two other bloggers The Roaming Reader
and readbyaaron to go to speak to Anna Burtt who hosts The Brighton Book Club podcast about book bloggers and what we do.

The Brighton Book Club is dedicated to all things bookish in the Brighton and Hove area and produces podcasts interviewing emerging authors and independent publishers.
Radio Reverb has their studio in the bustling Brighton Old Market and after almost going to the completely wrong place, I arrived and met Anna who was really friendly and made me feel at ease.
I’m not the most confident when talking to people but for some reason it felt completely natural – Anna asked us all the same question and we just took it turns to answer and it was over before I knew it. We spoke about what book bloggers do, our favourite book ever (that was hard!), books we are looking forward to and lots more!

It was a great experience and I was so glad I did it. I would definitely do it again given the opportunity!

[…] I started my blog 3 years ago today! I still love blogging and am proud of my blog although I still have zero confidence in what I write! The book world has been very different in 2020 – there was a period where proofs could not be sent out, where publication dates were moved and there were certainly no in-person book events after March, although I got to see plenty of amazing authors during virtual book festivals, including Maggie O’Farrell, Bernadine Evaristo, Patrick Ness and Robert Webb. And before Covid struck, I was lucky enough to be involved in a podcast with Brighton Book Club. […]
