The last 3 books I read, all while on holiday in the fabulous and slightly mad Disneyland bubble! I loved them all. So pleased to finally read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and This is Going to Hurt as they've both sat on my shelves for far too long! And I've read others by Paula Daly and Clear My Name didn't disappoint. All highly recommended as fantastic holiday reads! We are home! We had an amazing trip to Disneyworld in Florida. We had very hot weather and lots of rain and tropical storms. We ate some great food and enjoyed all the rides. And most importantly we enjoyed time together as a family, something that is becoming increasingly hard to do with our busy lives! I loved reading on the balcony at our hotel room! Well our holiday is coming to an end...today is our last full day. So here is a picture of my current read, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo with the iconic castle at Magic Kingdom. I'm loving this book so much...the glamour of Hollywood in bygone times really appeals to me. The Girl He Used to Know by Tracey Garvis Graves is out on the 8th August. I've posted my review on the blog today and it is definitely going into my top 10 of 2019! Annika often feels lost in social situations, saying the wrong thing or acting the wrong way.  She can’t read people and prefers the solitude of books or playing chess to being around others. This is the story of Annika and Jonathan who first meet at the chess club at The University of Illinois in 1991. Jonathan understands Annika and is kind to her, getting to know her and her strange ways and they fall in love. But something happens and they end up going their separate ways. When they meet again, 10 years later in 2001, they start to rekindle their relationship. I adored this book. The characters were sympathetic - Annika is so well written and Jonathan is lovely!
